Rebecca and I celebrated our anniversary in Bonners Ferry, enjoying downtown shops and trying the local cuisine at Kootenai River Brewing. The next day, we explored Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge, spotting eagles and deer, and hiked to Myrtle Falls. Our stay at Log Inn was lovely, marking the start of a new tradition.

Rebecca and I spent three days traveling and seeing cool stuff in Montana. We spent two nights camping and had a pretty good time driving around.

Rebecca and I spent the night at Hurricane Creek Campground before embarking on a short little hike to Falls Creek Falls. It was a great little hike and the woods were filled with flowers and insects. Totally enjoyed the weekend.

The Multnomah-Wahkeena Loop Hike near Multnomah Falls was hindered by unfavorable weather, leading to a shortened hike. Despite this, the experience of trekking to the top of Multnomah Falls was deemed worthwhile. Accessing the falls is relatively easy from Portland, offering stunning views. Crowds and ticketed entry during peak season should be anticipated. Dog-friendly.

Breeden Falls is a waterfall on Rock Creek in Washington state. It is a little bit north of Towell Falls, and under the right conditions, you can most likely visit both falls in the same day. Yaak Falls offers a nice waterfall right next to the roadway that you can explore. Depending on the flow, you can get right up to the water, and the geology of the area is pretty interesting.

Tucked up in the mountains, this alpine lake is beautiful and makes the whole hike worth the effort.
