This will be a short write up of a little hike I did. Located just north of Albion, WA, this small preserve has an abundance of birds and berry bearing bushes. The path was consistent and neat. The trail has almost no elevation gains and is clearly marked . Most of the hike is shaded from either trees or bushes. There were a great deal of different birds to spot and listen to. I would say this is a great place to take small children and take them out for a small hike. My only complaint about this hike is that there are no benches to sit on and take a rest should someone need to. The other thing that I feel must be mentioned is that the path does connect with a private drive, down which one must traverse in order to get back to the parking area. I am fairly certain it is part of the hike tho because there is a port-a-potty and garbage can on the side of the road.

I think this trail is probably best in the spring when the flowers are in bloom or in fall, when the autumn colors are more dominant, but I do not think you can go wrong taking a casual stroll along this trail.
